Man accused of exposing himself to two young girls

HOUSTON

The man lives in the complex, but some are questioning the charges. The suspect is accused of exposing himself off Long Point near Rolling Wood.

Investigators say Wyclife Kenyatta Ouko, 33, exposed himself to a couple of girls outside the Rolling Wood apartment complex on Long Point this week.

Tenant Joseph Alvarado said, "It happened to my friend and I was very surprised."

Now many families with young children at the complex are on high alert. Investigators say two girls, ages 17 and 14, were walking through the complex when they saw Ouko standing next to the recycling bin performing a lewd act. The girls told police the man was still partially nude as he chased them across the street.

"If she can identify someone and that happened, I mean, that causes great concern for us to know who we have living around us," said tenant Angie Saldana.

I checked with staff at the complex and found out the accused man has lived here four years. The property manager wouldn't go on camera, but told me she believes the teens identified the wrong suspect.

The property manager told me surveillance cameras at the complex show a different man approaching the girls. When I asked the staff if we could view that video, they denied the request saying it's kind of blurry.

For now Ouko is charged with two counts of indecent exposure. His neighbors say they'll be keeping a close watch on their children.

"Hopefully this results in the way that it should, you know, for what happened," Saldana said.

Right now Ouko is home and on bond. He didn't want to comment about the investigation. I'm told he's been ordered to have no contact with the victims. The property manager says she's alerting parents about the incident.
