A 60-year-old man is dead in what appears to be an attempted robbery. It happened at the Conoco gas station on Bissonnet near Synott last night. Police tell us several people were drinking outside the store when two men approached them. There was a struggle, during which one of the robbers shot one of the men.
The 60-year-old died at the hospital. The robbers got away.
