Eric Jacob Messer, 34, was being held Saturday in Harris County Jail without bond. He was originally arrested October 19 for possession of marijuana and digital video depicting children under the age of 18 engaging in sexual conduct.
According to authorities, Messer was making child pornography available for sharing across a file sharing network.
Through their investigation, authorities learned he also molested a 16-year-old inside his residence.
After recently being released on bonds totaling $80,000, Messer was re-arrested Thursday when the DA's office accepted two counts of sexual assault of a child against him. The investigation is ongoing.
