Prosecutors say Nick Georgandis, 36, used the names of two Katy High School football players in an effort to lure girls into sexually explicit chats.
Fort Bend District Judge James Shoemake found Georgandis guilty. He sentenced Georgandis to 10 years of probation. If he violates any terms of his probation he could be sent to prison for eight years. He must also register as a sex offender and do 200 hours of community service.
In open court, his attorney told the judge that Georgandis and his wife are expecting twins.
