The chase started in Willis and ended on Interstate 45 at Rayford Sawdust. Video taken from our Transtar JamCams showed the suspect in a pickup truck, leading police south on the freeway. Police were able to use spike strips to blowout the vehicle's tires. The suspect then got out and surrendered.
Investigators say the suspect tried to run from them during a traffic stop. They also say the vehicle's plates and VIN number did not match the truck.
