Grand jury to determine what happened in shooting

HOUSTON

Police say 21-year-old Darrin Doucet went to visit a friend's house Friday evening in the 10500 block of Kelburn near Parker.

Police said that although the two were good friends, they apparently had an "ongoing argument" which flared up during the visit. Another man was also present.

At some point, shots were fired. Officials said Doucet was shot multiple times.

Both the resident and the other man called 9-1-1.

Doucet was already dead by the time officers arrived.

Police interviewed the two men and could not determine who had the weapon and who started the confrontation.

No one was arrested, and the shooting will be referred to a grand jury.
