A resident says a man with a shirt that read "PD" approached him near Foster Elementary School and identified himself as a truant officer. He then asked if anyone had seen truant girls. A young girl says a man stepped out of some bushes yesterday and asked her the same thing.
Authorities say the man is not a Humble ISD truant officer and if you see him call police.
