Harris County Sheriff's deputies were called to the apartment complex after residents reported hearing a gunshot and found a woman dying outside an SUV. The unidentified woman died at the scene.
At the time, there were few clues in the mysterious killing. But now Denzell Glover, 18, has been arrested and charged with capital murder for the robbery and killing of the victim.
Glover has previous misdemeanor convictions from 2010 of interfering with duties of a public servant and criminal trespass. He is scheduled to appear in court on Monday.
