FBI needs your help to find 'Wedding Band Bandit'

HOUSTON

It happened at around 5pm at the Capital One bank branch on 11697 Westheimer. Investigators say he walked up the teller with a threatening hand-written note, demanding money.

The teller gave the man some cash and he left the bank. No weapon was used and no one was hurt.

According to witnesses, the man fled the area in an older model white sedan, possibly a 1996 Toyota sedan.

Investigators gave this suspect the 'Wedding Band Bandit' moniker because his wedding band was very visible in the surveillance photos taken during the robbery.

He's described as a black male between 38 and 40 years old, standing between 5-foot-8 and 5-foot-9 and weighing between 170 and 180 pounds. He has a thin build and a dark brown complexion. He was clean shaven with smooth skin. He wore a navy blue cap with the Polo Ralph Lauren logo on the front, a gray T-shirt, navy blue sweatpants and mirrored sun glasses. During the robbery, he carried a manila envelope with papers inside.
