The woman woke up to the smell of smoke in her apartment on Yale near Barkwood but fell when she tried to get out. A neighbor noticed the flames and helped her get out safely.
The woman was not hurt and admits she is a smoker but only smokes outside. It's not clear what started the fire but most of the damage was concentrated in her living room.
