Free Halloween events to get you in the spirit

HOUSTON But first for all the video game lovers a free gaming event at Katy Mills. This weekend, Simon's GamePlay tour is coming to Katy Mills. Get ahead by taking a sneak peak at the latest video games before they hit store shelves and compete in challenges for chances to take home prizes. The hours on Saturday are from 10am until 9pm and on Sunday from 11am until 6pm.

Adorn yourself in your most ghoulish frock and join the other little monsters at Boo on the Boardwalk in Kemah! This Saturday, catch Dracula's Monster Magic Show between 12 and 5pm and the Rolling Bones Band between 7 and 11pm. If you miss out, on Sunday, you can once again catch the magic show and the Boogie Man Band perform. There will also be trick or treating for kids, a kid costume contest and coloring contest.

As always there are free events at the Miller Outdoor Theatre. Friday and Saturday at 8pm, catch the famous drama on stage "Driving Miss Daisy." Then Sunday night, listen to a collection of Latin artists liven up the stage at 6pm, presented by MEGA 101. Then Thursday, bring the kiddos to bring the kids to an one-of-a-kind performance called Goldylocks And The Three Little Plays at 11am until noon. As always, free seating on the hill as well as pre-ordered tickets are available.

Save the date for next Friday, October 28th at IHOP for a frightful and delightful deal. Kids ages 12 and under get a free scary face pancake from 7am until 10pm. The scary face pancake is an oversized signature buttermilk pancake with a whipped topping mouth, strawberry nose and two mini Oreo cookies and candy corn.

Like every Thursday from 5 until 8pm, the Children's Museum of Houston is free but this Thursday is even more fun because the museum has been transformed into a happy Halloween mansion! There will be a lot of fun activities for the kids like a live musical show, critter creations and trick or treating. Be sure to dress the kids in their costume.
