The blaze hit a residence on Indigo near Chimney Rock. The fire is still going strong as crews work to contain it. From SkyEye 13 HD, you could see that the flames had not spread, but homes in the neighborhood are pretty close to each other.
The homeowner told Eyewitness News heard a loud explosion and saw flames. He grabbed his two dogs and got out of the house OK.
There are no reports of injuries so far.
