A white dog somehow wandered its way onto the main lanes of the freeway just before 11am Thursday. We caught it all on our Houston Transtar Jam Cams as animal control tried to chase down the dog for about 15 minutes while police officers blocked off traffic.
The dog spent several minutes walking up and down the toll lanes and shoulder of the freeway before finally getting a police escort to the nearest exit as traffic was stopped.
The dog managed to get out of harm's way and traffic began moving again.
