Emergency responders were called to a pedestrian accident around 2:30am Saturday. They found a body in the westbound right-hand lane on Beltway 8 just east of John F. Kennedy Blvd.
The westbound side of Beltway 8 was closed while officers investigated.
There is no word yet on who was at fault.
