Principal accused of assault appears in court

Sterling High School Principal Leviticus Williams, who's accused of assault, appeared in court Thursday

The principal of Sterling High School made his first appearance in court Thursday morning.

Leviticus Williams is accused of attacking a woman he was dating and hitting her in the head with a bottle. He was arrested on September 21. Williams is currently on administrative leave and out on a $2,500 bond.

Williams, 42, faces a misdemeanor assault charge. The case has been reset for October 18.
