Deputies say the suspects cut the pharmacy's power lines, hooked them to their truck and then tried to yank the cables from the ground. When deputies arrived around 4:30am, the truck sped off down Highway 249.
The chase wound through side streets until the suspects drove into a field on Boudreaux and ran into a wooded area.
One suspect allegedly fired at deputies. Both suspects were eventually caught in separate locations.
