The accident shut down the ramp shortly after noon Thursday and kept it closed until the evening.
Motorists were urged to exit Old Katy Road to eastbound Katy Rd to I-10 OR to exit to the westbound Katy Freeway, exit at Wirt-Chimney Rock, U-turn and re-enter the freeway eastbound.
