Police say the victim was a food vendor and was working near Euel and Hardy when someone tried to rob him.
Investigators believe he fought the robber or robbers, but was shot in the neck as he tried to drive away. He crashed the truck two blocks from the Gator Club where he had been selling food. He was taken to the hospital. His condition is unknown at this time.
