Firefighters say a bird's nest may have started a fire at a west Houston church last night.

The Vietnam Baptist Church caught fire around 10:30pm. Firefighters believe a bird's nest in an exterior light sparked the flames. The breezeway and an exterior walkway were damaged. The fire did not reach the interior of the church.

No one was in the church when the fire started.
