Five employees of a West Texas city have quit or retired after an investigation into city computers allegedly used to view pornography.

A statement late Monday from Lubbock city officials says a sixth worker is disputing the findings.

City officials have declined to release the names of the employees who faced disciplinary action.

Lubbock Mayor Tom Martin has declined comment, citing personnel matters. A police spokesman Monday also declined comment.

Several news organizations in Lubbock have filed open records requests for information about the investigation into the viewing of indecent or obscene materials.
