Five Houston men are behind bars in Fort Bend County for what investigators call a major marijuana grow house operation.

A narcotics task force investigation led to the search of three homes in the Richmond area.

Inside, officers found more than 1,000 marijuana plants along with growing equipment and paraphanelia. Agents estimate the street value of the drugs at about $2 million.

Meanwhile, still no arrests in another major growing operation in Montgomery County. More than 10,000 marijuana plants were destroyed after a tip led investigators to a massive field in Sam Houston National Forest.
