Houston Police Department spokesperson Jodi Silva told Eyewitness News that a call came in as a disturbance involving a weapon at a home in the 5400 block of Jackson near Calumet.
Police were unable to determine if the suspect may have been holding anyone hostage, so they have called in SWAT.
After about half an hour, the suspect emerged. He was alone. The circumstances and possible charges are not known at this time.
