According to the Harris County Sheriff's Office, at approximately 4:45am Deborah Destin was walking across the Sheldon Rd. exit ramp of Interstate 10. William Mason was operating a 1989 Ford Mustang and was traveling westbound on the Sheldon Rd. exit ramp. The front of the Ford Mustang struck Destin as she was walking on the exit ramp.
Destin died at the scene from injuries sustained during the crash.
This case remains under investigation by the Harris County Sheriff's Office.
