Alexander Cutino-Cabrera, 42, is charged with murder in the 180th State District Court.
Houston police say patrol officers responded to a 911 call of a disturbance at 8100 Sands Point about 3:30pm Sunday When officers arrived, police say Cutino-Cabrera answered the door with blood on his hands and arms. Officers say they then saw the victim lying on the floor deceased, behind Cutino-Cabrera.
According to police, further investigation determined Cutino-Cabrera and the victim got into an argument and, at some point during the argument, he stabbed the victim. Police say Cutino-Cabrera admitted to his involvement in the stabbing and was taken into custody at the scene.
The female victim, 31, suffered multiple stab wounds to the back and chest and was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
