The confrontation happened early this morning on Telephone and Red Robin. Police say the wife, who is 7-months pregnant, was returning home with her husband when they saw a man burglarizing their apartment. The suspect panicked and punched the pregnant wife, knocking her out on the ground.
The suspect ran, but then came back and got into a fight with the husband, who then stabbed the suspect three times with a knife.
Both the suspect and the pregnant wife were taken to the hospital. The husband is being questioned until police get the entire situation sorted out.
