There are reports that the 2013 NBA All-Star Game is coming back to the city of Houston for the third time.

Houston was originally bidding on the 2014 game, but word got out Wednesday that we we'll be awarded the 2013 game. It is scheduled to be played on February 17 of that year. The 2012 game is scheduled for Orlando, but with the lockout expected to be lengthy, that game might be in doubt.

The first time the NBA All-Star Game was played here was in the Astrodome in 1989, then at Toyota Center in 2006.

The Rockets have said the NBA advised them not to comment on the status of the game. We're still awaiting official word from the Rockets and the league.
