It happened at the Bank of America at 1550 Bay Area Boulevard at around 7:15am Friday morning. Investigators say the suspect forced an employee into the bank at gunpoint as employees were opening the drive-thru building of the branch. The FBI says the man was armed with a handgun and demanded cash, but no bills were available so he took off with change.
The suspect is described as a black male approximately 30-35 years old, 5 foot 10 to 6 feet tall, with a chubby build and a medium complexion. He had a light mustache and goatee. He wore a black baseball cap, a red and white striped shirt and blue jeans.
