Owner to shut 2 Dallas businesses of sexual nature

DALLAS, TX The decision by Glenn Hudson came Wednesday at a civil court hearing in Dallas.

A judge last month closed the Playground. The city, in a court filing, said undercover Dallas police officers had determined that the business was a so-called swingers' club, operating in a space that had a certificate of occupancy for a church, mosque or synagogue.

The Dallas Morning News (http://dallasne.ws/ns4OR3) reports Hudson has also agreed to close another club, called Darkside.

The city maintains that Hudson's enterprises violated zoning restrictions and had no religious activity.

Hudson says the most important thing is that his NRG Mission is legitimate.
