San Antonio man acquitted in fatal shooting

SAN ANTONIO, TX Jurors on Monday night found Ray Lemes not guilty of murder in the death of 19-year-old Angelo State University student Tracy Glass.

The homeowner's wife testified she screamed after finding Glass in their house. Lemes maintained he chased Glass outside and opened fire when the teen lunged at him.

Prosecutors say Glass, whose sister lived next door, had been drinking and Lemes was angry that the student was making noise. Assistant District Attorney David Lunan also says Glass might have gone to the wrong house.

The first trial ended in a mistrial due to a juror's misconduct for independently researching some legal definitions.
