Man in custody after SWAT standoff

HOUSTON

It happened around 10:45pm Sunday night at an apartment complex on Gulf Pointe near Sabo. Police say the man had fired a gun several times out of his apartment door. When officers arrived, the man barricaded himself inside his apartment and SWAT was called in.

After about 45 minutes, the man tried to escape through a bathroom window but was caught.

No one was hurt and there's no word on why he fired in the first place.
