Kings of Leon on Saturday announced the cancellation of their performance in Houston.

According to the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion website, frontman Caleb Followill suffered from heat exhaustion and dehydration during Friday night's performance in Dallas, causing his vocal chords to seize.

Followill's brother, Jared Followill, offered the following apology to Dallas show attendees on Twitter:

"Dallas, I cannot begin to tell you how sorry I am. There are internal sicknesses and problems that have needed to be addressed. No words."

The Houston concert has been rescheduled for September 22 at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. Tickets for the original date will be honored, and refunds are available if you cannot attend in September.
