Residents safely escape house fire in SW Houston

HOUSTON The fire caused heavy damage to one side of the house at Zircon near Kirkwood, even charring a second floor window. Everyone inside got out safely.

Firefighters were able to keep the fire from spreading to any neighboring homes.
