Details surrounding the accident were unclear late Sunday, but officials said three cars were involved. All three vehicles sustained heavy damage.
One of those vehicles was a Houston police cruiser. The officer was injured. She was taken to Memorial Hermann to be treated, but officials said her injuries were not life-threatening.
