Seaman found dead at Port of Houston

HOUSTON According to a spokesperson for the Port of Houston Authority, the incident happened in a federally-restricted area off the 610 East Loop North at Clinton Dr.

Officials said a man working at the port did not report back to duty after a lunch break Saturday afternoon. They later found his body.

Port of Houston police said the man was an able-bodied seaman working on the Yacu Taski cargo ship. He was identified as Felix Ventocilla-Dolores, 59. They are working to get more information about what led to his death.
