Houston is joining an international movement to stop blaming rape victims for the crimes committed against them. Hundreds of men and women marched for a "SlutWalk in Cherryhurst Park in southwest Houston on Saturday.

They say it's wrong to link sexual violence to the clothes the victim wears.

The name SlutWalk comes from a comment a Toronto police officer made in January.

He said, "Women should avoid dressing like sluts in order not to be victimized."

The comment outraged many people, and they've been holding SlutWalks all over the world since then.
