Technical glitch delays flights in and out of Houston

HOUSTON A piece of computer equipment reset itself Saturday morning as an arrival bank was coming in, a spokesperson for the Federal Aviation Administration said.

The system took about 10 minutes to reset, causing some arriving flights to circle a bit before landing.

It also grounded all departing flights until the system was up and running again.

The delays were between 16 and 45 minutes long at Hobby and George Bush Intercontinental Airports.
