Deputy Van Meter was killed when a truck crashed with his partner's cruiser last Sunday in Manvel. His partner and two teens in the truck were injured in the crash.
Deputy killed in crash to be laid to rest Friday
HOUSTON
Visitation for 27-year-old Deputy Charles Van Meter will be held Friday at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home from 5pm - 9pm. Funeral services will be held there this Saturday at 2pm.
