A SWAT team entered the room with a K-9 unit and found the man unconscious but breathing with weapons in the room. He was taken to a hospital to be treated for bites he received from the K-9 unit.
No one else was hurt.
Police standoff ends at downtown hotel
HOUSTON
It all started around 7:25pm at the Londale hotel on San Jacinto at Prairie. Police say a man on the third floor was shouting that he was going to kill himself and then barricaded himself in a room.
