Suspect accused of shooting man on his porch

HOUSTON

The suspect, Wesley Clark, 26, is charged with murder in the 339th State District Court. He is accused in the death of Steven Sadler, 25.

Police say Clark, Sadler and a witness were on the front porch of Sadler's apartment in the 5800 block of Sunforest about 6am on June 25 when, for unknown reasons, Clark pulled a pistol on Sadler and the witness. According to the witness, Clark fired several times at him before turning the gun on Sadler and shooting him several times.

Sadler was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Shortly after the shooting, police say Clark turned himself in to authorities and was charged in the incident.
