Moon dust, possibly stolen from the Johnson Space Center, is now back in Houston. NASA believes an employee used a one-inch piece of tape to smuggle the moon dust out of the JSC in 1969. The dust disappeared shortly after the Apollo 11 mission.

Federal agents in St. Louis recovered the moon dust Thursday from an auction. It's not clear how the dust ended up in the auction, and no one was arrested.

NASA says it will take weeks to confirm the moon dust is authentic.
