Train smashes into truck; at least 1 injured

HOUSTON

The accident happened at Mykawa and Airport at around 10:20am. It appeared to have involved a Union Pacific train and a green Ford pickup truck.

Police say the pickup ran out of gas on the train tracks. The passenger of the pickup was getting out, but the driver was still inside the vehicle when it was hit by the train.

We're hearing the driver was transported to the hospital via ambulance. No word on the extent of the injuries.
