Would-be thief leaves empty handed from pawn shop

HOUSTON This happened at the store on Antoine and Little York around 3am. Police say a burglar tripped the alarm. Police arrived and didn't notice anything suspicious so they called the fire department.

Fire crews discovered someone had tried to punch a hole in the roof. It appears the burglar ran away once the alarm went off.
