Harris County Sheriff's Office deputies responded and found a Honda Civic crashed into the side of a brick house.
According to deputies, an intoxicated man was driving a pickup truck north on Walters when he struck the back end of the Civic, which had slowed to turn left onto Mesa Peak.
When he hit the Civic, the female driver lost control of the car from the impact and drove through a yard and into the side of a house.
There was a family home asleep at the time, but no one was hurt.
The man in the pickup was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
