Suspect slips away from deputies

HOUSTON According to the Harris County Sheriff's Office , the suspect being detained in the 1700 block of FM 1960 at about 11:20am and was being transported to the HCSO Cypresswood Substation at 6831 Cypresswood when he ran. The handcuffed suspect was being transported to the substation for questioning about a robbery earlier in the week.

HCSO patrol deputies set up a perimeter around the Wimbledon Estates neighborhood. After saturating the area and no sign of the suspect, the search in that neighborhood was called off.

HCSO deputies continue to actively search for the suspect. He's described as a black male in his late teens to early 20's. He's about 6'3" tall, thin build, and was wearing a black shirt and blue jeans. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the HCSO at 713-967-5810.
