Police: Dallas crowds good spirited, few arrests

DALLAS, TX No property damage or injuries were reported late Sunday as fans crowded into downtown Dallas streets following the Mavericks' 105-95 win over the Miami Heat in Miami.

Dallas police say they'd made more than a dozen arrests as of 12:30 a.m. Sunday, including six for public intoxication and four for disorderly conduct. Others were taken into custody on outstanding warrants.

Police say the vast majority of people were cooperative and good spirited.

Officers say accurately gauging the crowd size was nearly impossible. They say the crowds were large and started to thin out before midnight.

Police aren't saying how many officers were on duty, citing security reasons.
