The man faces charges of unauthorized use of a concealed weapon in addition to DWI.
Authorities found the man in his car asleep at a red light on Buffalo Speedway with a handgun.
Investigators said the man has a concealed handgun license, but he was in violation of the permit because he was intoxicated and the gun was visible to officers.

The DWI task force will continue their partnership with other agencies through the July 4 holiday.
