Your vote could make Astrodome a 'place that matters'

HOUSTON The group, called "Houston MOD," is urging fans to vote for the domed stadium in the "This Place Matters" awards. The contest is being held by the National Trust for Historic Preservation. The Astrodome was chosen as one of 100 eligible sites.

If you want to vote, log onto the Greater Houston Preservation Alliance website. Voting continues through June 30.
