Police say during the investigation it appeared there were inconsistencies in Walker's version of events. They say she ultimately confessed to making the story up due to gambling in Louisiana and not returning when she told her mother she would be home.
Walker was charged and arrested for false report to a police officer and is currently in the custody of the League City Police Department with a $1,500 bond.
