A jailhouse fight over a personal music player ended after a New Mexico inmate had part of his ear bitten off. The Clovis News Journal reports that two inmates were fighting over an MP3 player Friday night at a Curry County jail.Undersheriff Wesley Waller says the scuffle ended when one of the inmates bit off a portion of the other's ear.
He says each inmate now faces charges from the argument.
Inmates are allowed to have approved MP3 players brought in by their families.
