Police seek man accused of killing ex-girlfriend

COLUMBUS, TX

Kyle Brent Johnson is charged with first-degree murder. Detectives say on Thursday, he shot 28-year-old Cotoya Annette Williams several times after they got into a fight outside a home in the 1000 block of Back Street.

When authorities arrived at the scene, they found Williams lying in the middle of the road. She was transported via LifeFlight to Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston where she died from her gunshot wounds.

Williams fled the scene and has not been caught.
